Red Oak Market: A Community Inspired Event

On Saturday, April 10th, there will be a huge, community driven event taking place that has never been done before until now. County wide, four cities Chamber of Commerce are collaborating and putting together the very first Ellis County Market. These cities include: Red Oak, Waxchachie, Midlothian, and Ennis. This event is geared towards bringing fellowship to the community countywide and promoting businesses, big and small.

With over 100 vendors so far, there will be plenty to see and do. They have several "zones" that will have different activities including: Boutique Boulevard for shopping; Pet Zone with furry friends; Kids Zone with a bouncehouse and more; Safety Zone with the Police and Fire Departments; Go Zone with all things wheels; and the Food Court to satisfy your hunger and tastebuds. Tickets are $5 just for shopping and $10 gets you into all the fun events.

Clint Woodward is the President of the Red Oak Chamber of Commerce and has been serving the Red Oak community since March of 2019. The Chamber of Commerce is the best group of people to talk to about promoting small businesses in specific areas and getting the word out when starting new business ventures in their designated cities. Ellis County Market is definitely a perfect opportunity for businesses to attend and promote themselves by purchasing a booth at the event. Booths are $250 for vendors and an extra $50 for extras like electricity, wifi, 2 chairs, and a table. "This event is all about marketing and getting people acquainted with businesses countywide. Some of the local Red Oak businesses there will be Angel's Plan, specializing in internal medicine and weight loss. Red Oak Chiropractic will be there doing adjustments, and many more businesses will be there," reported Woodward.

Some of the sponsors for the event are Access Self Storage, Methodist Midlothian, Texas State Optical, Citizens National Bank, and a few more. This event will be held at the Ellis County Youth Expo Event building. The address is 2300 US-287 in Waxahachie, TX 75167.
